Relief from Summer Heat

It’s September and we’re still looking for cooler weather. A couple years ago we discovered Mama Gerties Hideaway Campground. This is truly one of the only camping spots to see mountain views! The cooler temps are definitely a bonus. The photos are showing the beautiful view and a map of mountains you will be mesmerized by.

RVs are selling like hot cakes so make your reservations for next year now if you want to get your premier spot on the top level of the resort. Now I will warn you, there’s no pool, pickle ball or any amenities other than a laundry and showers. It’s conveniently located near the famous Biltmore Estate, the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and loads of hiking experiences.
